Reply to note from Fred Weiner <dmarc-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Mon, 24 Aug 2026 14:55:30 -0700 Fred, > I have done what's been suggested here, but ctrl-o does not do > "Open," ctrl-q does not quit. KBD file not being read on startup > for some other reason? Try this command: MSG $KB. If it returns empty, no KBD file is loaded; otherwise, it will return the name of the loaded KBD file. If a KBD file is loaded, open it and confirm that the expected Ctrl+O and Ctrl+Q key bindings are actually there. If MSG $KB reports no KBD file, double-check that you've added CD $XSDIR as the very first line of startup.xpl (I assume that your startup.xpl loads a KBD file!), then restart XyScript. If your KBD file is actually loaded but the keystrokes do not work, that indicates a deeper issue, possibly macOS-related. -- Carl Distefano cld@xxxxxxxxxx
