OS/2 2.1 Installation



Method 1: Buy the CD-ROM version (which is a) cheaper ($79) and b) has a few
extras on it. Then borrow, beg or steal some time on a machine with a CD-rom
drive (it can be a DOS only machine) and make disk images onto 5" diskettes.
(There will be instructions). Then you are done with the problem. Method 2:
Swap cables around, change the CMOS, etc. in your machine. Basically though you
are stuck, since just like DOS you can only boot from the a: drive (except for
some hardware BIOS that let you specify the boot drive).
