Find failure

This appeared suddenly on my portable computer (running Win95). I could
never figure out why it happened or how to fix it. I recently reformatted
the hard disk, however, and did a fesh installation of Win95 (same source as
before). I no longer have the problem. Perhaps there is some kind of damage
to a directory structure that is not picked up by ScanDisk but which stalls
XyWrite.
