My belated thanks and appreciation to everyone who responded on and off
list to my Mac questions.
As I began to pry money from my bank to complete the purchase of a G4, a
good friend offered to sell me his SGI machine running Unix at a very
attractive price. It comes with $30 to $50k worth of image manipulation
and digital animation software.
My Unix knowledge is zero, but he claims an old DOS user who uses
XyWrite should have little difficulty.
Maybe?
