From what I've noticed in the manual, AR is now a manual expander
for abbreviations (nice addition) for when auto-replace is not
active. Type your abbrev, press the Ctrl key (the default key
for this, according to the manual) while at the end of the
abbreviation and it will expand. Versus auto-replace being active
and abbreviations automatically expanding as you move on.

I put AZ in my xwstart.int file via typing PFUNC AZ from command
line and this turns on auto-replace as my default when I start
Windows XyWrite. Haven't noticed as yet if there's a setting in
xwset.dfl for auto-replace. Is there? Regardless, xwstart.int is
just a macro, albeit an auto startup macro, so function calls
should be executable from within, same as other macros.
Difference being that this macro runs automatically when XyWrite
is started.

Auto-replace is a toggle so AZ turns it on and AZ again at some
point will turn it off, etc.
