I wasn't aware of electrical build-up in a monitor. I just opened it up, reached in and pulled out the fuse. There 'were' some sparks but I said to my daugther, "Ya see? It's still working." Thanks for the tip about electrical build-up, though. Excuse me now while I go down a bottle of scotch.
