In case anyone's wondering, a tech forum that a XyWriter directed me to off-list (Wilders Security) solved one of my big Fujitsu problems.Web browsing and Flash playback were actually being seriously slowed down by Kaspersky's HTTP Scanner. When it's deactivated, things load as I would expect them to, and Flash plays smoothly. So for the moment I retract my malediction about the Flash software.But I'm surely going to try Robert's faster FLV program, which has showed up on this list providentially.Jon Pareles
