And, dare I suggest, on the Operating System. While I agree with you that
XyWrite screams in a full-screen session, my own experience with Windows NT4
precludes me from using any other approach. Dos windowed sessions under NT4
open appalling slowly. Imagine, if you will, the STARTUP.INT file being
executed almost a character at a time! Yes, even slower than a moderately
competent two-fingered typist (like me) could type the commands! And also
somewhat jerky once the session has got underway.
