Re the dictionary TSR problem, I found that using XYDOS with the
Random House dictionary would crash Windows when I called up the
dictionary. It was easy to deal with by installing the
dictionary (in either non-resident or resident mode, no matter)
in a separate window.
This meant it wouldn't automatically respond to the word under
the cursor, but it also meant no crashes.
