How do I set up the mail.prn file

I know long ago someone mentioned changes that could be made to either
ascii.prn or mail.prn so that they would actually work properly, which
of course they don't in the state they're in when you recieve them from
the Tech Group. I find I am now in need of printing out things to a
file properly formatted for email.
