Searching for a function call (was Re: Change Invisibles: migrating ...)

The guidance which Harry and others are seeking -- and which apparently can
be found on p. 3-59 (Note #8) of the Xy4 Command Reference Guide in the
3-93 revised edition but not in the 1-93 first edition -- is also to be
found in the Reference Guide for the much-maligned XyWin (p. 4-78, note
#9).

My impression, although I couldn't possibly document it, is that when I've
looked for information or instruction I can usually find what I need more
quickly in the single-volume guide for XyWin more easily than in the three
volumes of the Xy4 documentation. There must be many exceptions -- am I
right in guessing, for instance, that the Xy4 volumes are more generous
with XPL lore (though probably still not informative enough)?

Call.

First Editon (Revised), March 1993.

Came with 4.012.

Should we organize to get Harry a replacement?
