I pursued this thought with a couple of XyQuestrians, including
one who migrated with the business to Technology Group.
Apparently, TTG hired some kid who didn't know nuthin' to be
their tech coordinator, and he managed to trash the machine that
had all the archival files which they inherited from XyQuest.

It is hard to believe, as you say, that somebody didn't make a
copy; but that somebody apparently doesn't subscribe to this
maillist. I don't believe that there are *any* XyQuestrians
here anymore... (Madsen and Baehr are gone). The band of
devotees dwindles, alas.
