This is a good suggestion, and I agree that Linux is easy and powerful.
But there is an easier way to work with Linux on your Win 7 or 8
desktop. Just download a virtual appliance into VirtualBox or VMware.
Or if you prefer, install it yourself from an ISO file instead of
burning it.
