If this is Win9x you're talking about, and if the deleted file isn't
"recyclable", I can recommend a cheaper alternative to NU: Steffen Kaus's
$25 shareware Recover 4 All (aka Recover4All, Rec4All, etc.). Recovering
deleted files is all it does, but it seems to do this well.
