TYPEF AND 3.56

I've been trying the "upgrade" to 3.56 and have encountered an interesting
problem.

In my previous version (3.52), I could issue the command:
  TYPEF ,A:TEXT.T to type the current file to a diskette in drive A:

The same command using 3.56 results in a PRompt message:
   Path not found

Is there a work-around ??

P.S. - The TYPEF command works _if_ the filename to be printed to disk is
explicitly typed in . . . I'd rather not have to do that; this _is_ the age of
computers isn't it?
