If Vernon Buerg became a millionare from shareware, I suspect that LIST
gets only part of the credit. His QDR (Quick disk reformatter) was the
first widely used utility that could reformat a floppy disk in a second.
Although Microsoft eventually included the method in DOS, I still use the
original. He originated quite a few other really useful utilities (and for
all I know may still be doing it).
