XyWrite history (timeline)

I'm beginning to get the idea that TTG was something of a
"fly-by-the-seat-of-the-pants" outfit. With releases like Patricia's 4.015L
and Jon's 3.57A (and I don't know what to make of Carlo's Y2K compliant
4.017) I'm wondering if TTG was prone to cobbling together a bug fix
version, due to a customer's complaint, and then releasing very few copies -
or posting them to their BBS - so that only a few copies actually made it
out into the wild...just a thought.
