They may have been among the workarounds that MS
itself has reportedly worked around. I imagine there
may well be some later issue hacks that returned the
favor, and still do the job.

Can't be sure about this, but I seem to recall reading
that there have been 2 rev.s of WGA so far. A more
stringent version may be in the works for "Vista", if
anyone cares.
