Norman, it was auto-expand that I was referring to; I couldn't remember whether
it was 3.56 or 3.57 that trashed it. I don't know of any other "downgrades"
after that.

Is that what I said? No. I said "some adjustments". Often, Xy3 programming
works without alteration in Xy4 (although, if you recoded it with Xy4 in mind,
it might be more economically expressed). Sometimes you do need to make a few
"adjustments". Look, I was talking generally, & I wasn't pushing any agenda.
He says he's content with Xy3, so that's what I focused on. I had one sentence
about Xy4, and one sentence about NBWin -- just to lay out a very simple
overview of his alternatives. If v3.56 removed auto-expand, then v3.55 would
probably be his best bet going forward.

Yes, the Copy/Paste routines I described are Win32 only. They are much easier
to use than any alternative that I know about. Give it a whirl if you're so
inclined. What is particularly nice is that they work in both FullScreen and
Windowed sessions. The Xy4 version is better, but the Xy3 version is no slouch.
