Saving As (IV/Win to III+)

In saving some XyWrite 4.12g (for Windows) files to XyWrite II+ format, I've
encountered a problem. The translation seems to have inserted random words
spaces in the middle of various words. Has anyone else encountered this
problem? Does anyone know of a solution?
