All I do is load the most recent version of QEMM to manage the TSRs I run
with XyWrite (Hotline and a 1991 version of Microsoft Bookshelf) and I never
have any problems. I have also worked some really large DOS files, upwards
of 1.5 Mb and all seems to go well.

Far be it from me to claim an infallible memory, but when
installing the last several versions of XY4 under DOS,
unforgiving was the word if any TSR's were loaded. And what
is Windows but an unimaginably bloated TSR shell?
