There's no need to venture into the Windows Registry (a potentially
hazardous operation) to set the path. Try Control Panel, System, Advanced,
Environment Variables where you can set a path for a particular user (top
panel) or system-wide (bottom panel). Or, if you only need the path for
Xywrite, set up a custom autoexec in the Win shortcut that runs Xy.
