Dear Robert I have now managed to find a way to make the STOPUSB script work for me without affecting my screen font, by launching it from a desktop shortcut utilising a suitable keyboard shortcut. Curiously, if I launch GoXY using the keyboard shortcut it will only work if XY4 is running but if I launch it by double-clicking on the icon it will stop a USB drive whether XY4 is running or not.
