Or how about those newsletters XyQuest used to send out? I had a

One thing I do remember: when I got Xy III, it was the last version that
did not recommend a hard drive (I was still on a two-360K floppy system
then); the new version was out, and I scrounged around to find a dealer
who still had the "old" one. The à la carte menus in the copy I had
(also sent to Bry, but he gave me back a CD with the contents of the
floppies; these represent a subsequent upgrade) are dated 10/6/1988
(.dfl) and 4/12/1989 (.kbd and .mnu)

One other thing: editor.exe of 7-25-1990 was the last version to have
autocorrect; I refused to "upgrade" beyond that..
