Deleting Files

Title: Deleting Files





After looking through the manuals, I find that there's no way to "blind" delete all the files in a directory (i.e. DEL *.* or DEL *).

So my question is...is that actually true, or is there some undocumented method that "everyone" but me knows about?


This must not be a particularly common need since it doesn't seem to be covered in the archive (or at least my, probably poor, attempt to search it didn't find anything).
