Re anti-virus software, my university hands out a Win95 program.
I insisted on one that works in DOS and is not memory-resident (I
am not on a network, and prefer to check new files individually).
They gave me one called Vi-spy, which can work under Win 3.1 as
well. It comes on a single floppy. I don't know the maker, since
Penn distributes it under license without the particulars on the
disk. It does the job, although, since it is not restricted to
Win9x, it doesn't get reviewed in the computer mags.
