DIRL issue...

 Concerning DIRL, I don't know if this is normal, but I _may_ have
 a small problem executing DIRL. I have to issue the command DIRL
 twice to get results. The first time I issue the command, the
 programme seems to access the hard drive for I hear whirling and
 two beeps, and I get a CA on the command line. The second time,
 I issue the command DIRL, I get the results expected. Is this
 what happens normally?
