On the issue of Speedo, I think there is a general
misunderstanding about the real role of those fonts in the
Windows product. If you use Windows printer drivers, which I
strongly recommend unless you have some peculiar need that
XyWrite printer drivers address, the only role for the Speedo
fonts is to supplement the Windows character set for those
characters not present there.  Otherwise, the TrueType fonts are
used for printer and screen.

I think many people have not experimented with using Windows printer drivers.
The display is generally much better.
