Setting CHCP 437 in the AUTOEXEC.TXT doesn't make a difference.
Martin, are you loading a printer file? I believe you need to load one
which in turn causes the Xy4 Bitstream Speedo fonts to be loaded. (The
extended characters [nnn] are from the Speedo character set.) I
generally don't use Xy to print, but load STANDARD.PRN as a
placeholder. The 294 alpha displays correctly here with CP 437 set
both in vDos and Xy.
