Dear Carl Further to my earlier post, I find that this is something to do with the keyboard assignment I have made. When I returned to my original XY4.DLG, but forgot to remove the $A assignment from 52= ... I found that I still received the message "You must create C:\XY4\HTML.REG". I don't know if that makes it any easier to explain. Paul
