That's a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a
router to come up. I know it's not wireless -- which
I expect makes a difference -- but my 6 year old DSL
modem takes about 90 seconds to go from Off to fully
operational, and I think at least half of that time is
because it is connected to a separate firewall box,
and they have to get talking to each other and the
computer.
