My learned friend ... forgets nothing. Meanwhile, Yo's Clinton monomania
is reminiscent of the Vietnamization of everything at the hands of Walter
(John Goodman) in *The Big Lebowski*. Semantics schmemantics: the
continued US bombing of Serbia deserves considerably more than soundbites
pro or con--I recommend that British-resident Xyistes buy a copy of the
latest *Prospect* to see some intelligent argument; Americans, recent
articles in the *LA Times*--but any American, pro or con, might care to
remember that its continuation beyond a period of sixty days without
Congressional approval is (if my hazy memory/understanding of US politics
is correct) in violation of the War Powers Act.

I hereby pronounce this threadlet dead and buried. Now back to Xy, please
(leavened by our happy memories of the miscellaneous pronouncements of the
inimitable Kenneth Frank).
