Re: xy windows

Hi, Mark. Here's a xyW3 xpl func CP/MV substitute that lets
you move or copy text blocks freely. Based on The Herb's
algorithm that begins and ends a define+removes a block
with the same key, depending on which #B key you tap the pgm
either removes the block from text to the "clipboard" or--
a la func CP--does that, then restores the block to the screen.

At the beginning of your block, tap the #B copy or #B move
key, take the cursor to the end of the block and hit the
same key. That records the block to the clipboard and you
can now tap your func UD key to insert it anywhere, any window.
No func MV or CP weirdness--it's all done with DF, RD, and UD.

If the block is so long removing it may be destructive,
#B alerts you and asks if you want to proceed. If you don't,
#B leaves the block defined for your further consideration
but doesn't record it to the clipboard. #B preserves
<70char-CMline strings without resort to an ldpm, but
without one can't know whether you started in overstrike or
insert: #B finishes in overstrike; if you usually work in
insert, you can delete the CI instruction from the two #B
custom.kb3 sequences.

Of course you also could just use your func DF key to begin
a block and make keys that at the end of a block ...
   00=DFRD     (to move)
and
   00=DFRDUD    (to copy)
... which under the embroidery is what #B does. ... Ciao. --a
