The model 57 is a MicroChannel machine. I get no error messages of any sort
prior to lockup.

I did some poking around in the dialogue file, since I've done a lot of custom
programming of menus and such in III+ and IV. By turning debug mode Iô, I've
determined that the crash comes at the precise instant the program tries to
read the contents of the text box. However, I can't do much more poking, since
there appear to be a lot of new controls and functions in the dialogue boxes
and menus which aren't documented in the Customization documentation for either
Signature or XyWrite 4.0.

I tried calling Baltimore about this, but never heard back (or, if they did
call back, I never got the message at my office, which happens from time to
time).
