Which is why it wasn't working.

Delete the BX in that line!  It's unnecessary.  Moreover, func BX must always be mated with a terminating func Q2 (or be followed by a command in parens)!  A lone func BX will cause all kinds of unexpected results.  It's NOT the same as a lone func BC.
