Can you still find a DOS prompt? Or drag and drop? Can you
copy a new file over an old file of the same name? Daunting
indeed.

I use an ordinary plain text file, alphabetically organized.
For elegance, simplicity, intuitive access, and easy record
entry/edit, you can't beat it.
