Judith: Don't fight it, just do it! Then we don't have to talk about it.
Change the ! Move it to an unshifted key -- what have you got on
F12? or perhaps one of the gray Numpad keys like "="? -- or else to a
combination like Ctrl-something or Alt-something. Your problem will go
away, trust me.
