Bold view in XYWin

I have been experimenting with XYWin in Windows 2000 and have found that I cannot get bold text to
show on screen in any but graphic view. Elsewhere normal and bold text are indistinguishable. Is
this normal, or is there some way of making the text look darker?

As a separate issue, does anybody know if it is possible to get markers, footnote numbers etc to
display in a different colour to the normal text with XYWin.
