I was wondering why, on one of my laptops, the screen text in XyWrite was thin and scrawny. Troubleshooting, I found I had forgotten to disable, in vDos/properties/compatibility the setting "disable display scaling on high DPI settings". Disabling display scaling (i.e., setting the check mark) does not change the size of the type in any way, but it does make the screen astonishingly more clear. I hope everyone's aware of this.
