Jon, what's that diction file? I have nothing like it on my system. If you're trying to load the spelling dictionary, its name is dict.spl. And, as Carl wrote, back on Aug. 23 2002:
≫LOAD C:\Xw\dict.spl;*; " is meaningless on a couple of levels: (a) you
don't load dict.spl, it just needs to be in the Path;≪
You're also using a lot of memory. What does VA/NV $M+6 report now that you got rid of all those SGs? Mine is 2, and I sometimes run as low a 1.
Everybody should note that if you set your path with a batch file before
running Xy, the newest version of Ghostscript has a new directory name.
And of course Ghostscript's BIN directory must be in the DOS Path (as
Carl and Robert reminded us on 1/5/05). So you'll need to edit that
batch file to include the new directory name.
