Harry, thanks, but that is not the solution. I have various saves in my
keyboard file but they only save they don't replace the current file with
a previous version. I believe there must be a function of this sort in
the original XYWin keyboard file but I have no idea how to locate it.

And you are sure that it is not just doing an UnDelete of a previously
deleted block of text? That might look like a wholesale reversion to a
previous file. (Search for u,d)
