Re: Problem with ASPL

I have tried the new version of Aspell. I can see that it is much shorter but the behaviour is still the same, exiting immediately with no separate command window. I can confirm, however, that after launching Aspell independently of XY4 a single keypress will end the otherwise interminable wait. After that it appears to function as normal.

Incidentally I am using version 22H2 of Windows 10.

Ah, no.

I made another run at ASPL. It's simpler now, without being materially
different from the last version, so in principle there is no reason why
it should work for you now when it didn't before. Still, who knows? it
might be worth a try. You can download it here:
