Harry,

Good luck with that. There are many one-to-one correspondences, to be sure, but the really
interesting part lies in the various directions in which "xpl" blazes new paths. So beware
lest you chain yourself to a past that has ... passed you by. That said, your list is basically ok,
with the glaring exception of "«CU» FOR". CU is syntactic sugar for
doing X, Y number of times. Yes, FOR does that, but much more: it can iterate over the characters in
a string and the elements in an array, and do something *different* each time. Those elements can
themselves be arrays; FOR can reach down into the elements of those subarrays.

If you're dead set on having AI serve this up for you on a silver platter, I think your approach is
all wrong. What you should do is have Claude learn two separate things: XPL and xpl. Then (and only
then), let Claude figure out how to translate between the two. In a perfect world, Claude would
advise you to learn a bit of xpl on your own. What you'd find is that it's now easier to do all
sorts of things that XPL forced you to jump through hoops to do, not to mention the universe of
things that XPL is simply unable to do. Up to you.
