A reply from IBM

I realize this isn't entirely on topic, but since there were a number
of people wondering how long they might be able to run XyWrite under
OS/2, I'll post a brief note.

I've learned that IBM took out full-page ads on pages A7 to A9 of
Tuesday's NY Times affirming its commitment to OS/2. I likely won't
be able to examine the ad myself here in Tokyo, but those of you able
to do so might want to check it out.

In a related development, IBM just announced the release of OS/2 Warp
Server in the last two days, and the release of OS/2 Warp Symmetric
is planned before the end of the year. I'm looking forward to the
release of Warp 4.0 in the early part of next year.
