Re: NB and Xy

I too have been playing around with the Nota Bene demo. And, unlike John
Gordon, I am far from impressed. Not only does my machine crash every five
minutes or so (perhaps this is to be expected from a demo), the NB program
is just plain slow -- at least when compared to XyDos or XyWin.

Indeed, the only improvement I have noticed is a cleaner screen font than is
found in either XyWin or XyDos (graphics view). I'm not about to shell out
$100 for this thing! I'll play around with the Smart Words beta if we ever
see it. But Nota Bene for windows is, as far as I'm concerned, a big
disappointment.

Also, I've never had a problem with the DOS versions of Orbis, or Ibid.
They've always worked well on my machine.
