Graphical-view screen colors are controlled by the 14th, or final,
value of the BX default (not to be confused with the Blind Execute
function call, BX). Command VA/NV BX14 to see the current value on
your system. If you load SETTINGS.DFL, to find the default value at
startup, CAll SETTINGS.DFL and SEarch for "DF BX=". It's the last
number on that line.

If you have the XyWWWeb Jumbo U2 installed, you can cycle through
the available colors in "real time" by issuing SeeWZ; hit
Escape when you reach a color scheme that suits you. (A companion
frame, SetWZ, lets you set a particular immediately, e.g., SetWZ
7.)

SeeWZ changes the current value of BX, not the default. It reports
the current value so that, when you're ready to make a permanent
change, editing SETTINGS.DFL is a one-time procedure, minus the
tedious guesswork normally involved in changing color modes.
