Paul,
hardcode.pgm works now. I realized that the string 'fix' occurs in the
pgm in several places and was loathe to muck up the pgm w/o knowing
which instances were function calls and which were placeholders. I've
now changed the placeholders to another string which won't likely occur
in text files. Thanks for the suggestion.
