You mean, does XyWrite automatically add EXTensions to filenames? No. You
create the extension (any one you want) when you create the file with the NEW
command, e.g. "NE MYFILE.XY". This file now has a ".XY" EXTension.
Use normal 8.3 DOS nomenclature, that is, up to eight chars for the
filename, up to 3 chars for the (optional) extension.
