Y2k problem

Speaking about the Y2k problem (not related to XyWrite itself), I
experienced the following:
A. Using a 386 or 486 machine:
- date and time are correctly maintained if the machine is switched on
while the century changes;
- the date is frozen at 04-01-1980 if the machine is switched off at the
century change, but the time continues to run correctly.
B. Using a Pentium based machine: no problem.
Some one can confirm?
