Hi, Dan Kanagy. This is pretty indirect since I don't use Orbis
or Warp and don't know how similar xyWrite is these days to
Notabene (which I *also* don't use) but ...

I lurk in bit.listserv.notabene (where I learned--with vaulting
joy--of this list). I see as much q&a in that newsgroup as here
re Warp and far more re
Orbis. You might get some tips there, or may end up offering NB
users your work-around; their frustration with Orbis glitches is
a steady theme.
